Q. How do I search for a chemical?
A. To search for a chemical enter the chemical name into the search box and click the search button. To make the most out of using ICIS search look at our search tips.

Q. Do I have to enter the full chemical name when searching for a chemical?
A. No. You can enter part of a chemical name into the search box and add an asterisk * after the wording that has been entered. This will bring up a list of chemicals containing the words searched.

Q. How will I know how many clicks I have had on my company link?
A. If you have brought a priority listing with ICIS search you will be supplied with a report. The report will give you details of your account held with ICIS search which will include the amount of clicks your company has received.

Q. What is banner advertising on ICISsearch.com?
A. Banner advertising is a graphic image used as an advert on a web page. When users click on the image, they are taken to the website of the company placing the ad. ICISsearch.com display skyscraper banners down the side of the screen.

Q. What file size should my banner be?
A. The following file size and dimensions should be used when supplying a banner to ICISsearch.com. 120 x 600 pixels maximum file size: 25KB
