Diammonium Phosphate

Diammonium phosphate (DAP) is one of two products called ammoniated phosphates because phosphoric acid is treated with ammonia to form the basic phosphate products that also contain nitrogen. The two products are widely produced in the granular form for blending with other types of fertilisers and are also produced in non granular forms for use in liquid fertilisers.

Diammonium phosphate (DAP) is a concentrated nitrogen-phosphorus fertiliser that is soluble in water. It may be utilised in all kinds of soil for the fertilising of field, garden, orchard and flower garden crops and plants. DAP is stored and transported as a solid at ambient temperatures.
