Air Liquide’s key strategic goal is to be the recognised leader of its industry by 2012 by speeding up its growth and increasing its competitiveness. The strategy
is based on four major themes: build leadership positions, drive innovation, deliver efficiency, and develop talents. It will be implemented through a series of key projects that aim to improve its performances and transform its practices and businesses.
In addition, over the past couple of years the company has made a number of acquisitions including Japan Air Gases and restructuring its southeast Asia joint venture holdings.
