RPM International with its subsidiaries specialises in specialty coatings, sealants and speciality chemicals serving both the industrial and consumer markets. With headquarters in Medina, Ohio and around 10,000 employees worldwide, RPM had fiscal 2009 sales of $3.4bn.
RPM continued with its strategy of “growth acquisition” by acquiring businesses and says it has the financial flexibility to continue to pursue both large and small acquisitions.
The company expects to continue to build on its track record of growth and performance and will harness the financial capital provided by its investors and the human capital provided by its associates to find new and better ways to serve its customers, develop ideas for new products and new markets, and identify potential new businesses.
RPM expects that a bottom-line focus will enable revenue growth to translate into higher profitability, stronger cash flow and an increasing cash dividend.
