Core platform businesses will “anchor” the business, while strategic growth businesses will drive sustainable growth that is equally balanced across the company.

Ube will continue to engage in efforts to improve its financial position by implementing a management strategy that will focus on cash flow to enhance its financial position. At the same time, Ube will place strong emphasis on prioritising capital investment based on the positioning of businesses within its portfolio.

Ube will continue to implement its management strategy that emphasises shareholder value by increasing its market value and raising dividends for its shareholders.

Headquartered in Yamaguchi, Japan, Ube has around 11,264 employees and sales of Y685bn in the fiscal year ended 31 March 2009.
