The power of left-over food in Japan

The power wasted in left-over food is outlined in this story on Far East Gizmos, a number of Tokyo’s schools will be using waste food to generate power… Perhaps we could do the same with waste from supermarkets over the Chirstmas period?

    Don’t stop there! Restaurants, animal and agricultural wastes, municipal sewage streams, forestry wastes, even street leaf litter.

    Hi David,
    I wonder why local authorities don’t manage the trees in their boroughs as sustainable forests. There is a lot of leaf litter, and the trees can grow pretty quickly.
