Recently, Green Spirit Fuels said that HSBC bank will fund a bioethanol plant in the south of England. Green Spirit’s Wessex Biofuels subsidiary will build the plant at Henstridge, Somerset ().
The factory in will use 350,000 tonnes of wheat to produce 105,000 tonnes of bioethanol and is expected to come into production by spring 2008. Wessex Grain, has already agreed grower contracts to cover more than half the requirement for the plant’s first year of operation.
Green spirit says it has an agreement to sell the output from plant. .
Putting the plant next to the granary sounds pretty obvious. But I am impressed by the low conversion rate between wheat and bioethanol, which, for those of you who don’t want to do the sums is in this case 30%.
I’d like to try and keep a track of the new biofuel projects announced each week. Do you think that would be a good idea? Would you let me know about yours?

Bangladesh is full of natural resources but no steps or few steps taken for utilize that resources. Daic corporation Ltd. is the Japanese company trading in Bangladesh. Now, this company going to starts the project on Bioethanol for safe the environment.
