Biodiesel powered Jet Car

Lot of noise in the US about Jay Leno's new custom built “biodiesel” powered jet car, reported on Popular Mechanics, courtesy of Instapundit

They talk quite a bit about biodiesel, but...

the Honeywell LT-101 engines are designed for helicopters. So hardly a Rolls Royce Trent 900 but pretty poky for a big star. No word on miles/gallon, do you think Jay gets what biodiesel is about? He must mean bioethanol?
