Listing for UK's first ethanol for fuel plant

Ensus plans to list on the London Alternative Investment Market to fund the construction of the UK's first dedicated ethanol for fuel plant. The firm is chaired by Rob Margetts, once of Imperial Chemicals Industries and more recently of British oxygen BOC. He's a genuinely nice chap.

The ethanol plant will be fed with European wheat and built at Wilton in the north east of England.

Significantly, the Ensus says

Ensus has entered into long term contracts with Shell Trading to purchase all bioethanol produced at the Plant
