US gasoline might reach $6.40/gal

US gasoline prices might reach $6.40/gal according to Ankle-Biting-Pundits, discussing the Renewable Fuels, Consumer Protection and Energy Efficiency Act of 2007, which seems has generated some interesting debate (at least initially, it soon wanders off in to the yah-boo which characterises quite a bit of US political debate in the Blogosphere). One of the commentators, Maureen makes some good points by implication about higher prices for commodities making people think before using them.
