Nice idea, converting sugar to ethanol. I'm tempted to say that no home bar should be without one. I wonder how flexible it would be should we ever run into a shortage of sugar. Grain was glutted a couple of years ago.

David B. Benson:

No flexibility, but the world has an enormous glut of sugar. Unlikely to change fast enough that this concept wouldn't pay for itself several times over.
