The Blog Wins Prizes

ICIS-Chemicals-Confidential has been in existence for JUST TWO WEEKS and has already been showered with glittering prizes.

At the Charity Blogathon on Monday 24 September, I won Best Virgin Blogger - rapidly changed to Best Novice Blogger for obvious reasons.

And today I was very happy to accept the award of Blogger of the Day from Keith Jones, Chief Executive of Reed Business. That's two bottles of champagne, plus the glory.

The blog stats show that most of the Blog's readers are in the US, UK, Germany, India and Singapore, so thank you all.

We are now going head to head with the Farmers' blog and the Big Truckers' blog. Not to mention the Hairdressers and the Gadget Freaks.

Undeterred, ICIS-Chemicals-Confidential is quietly confident because we have not only: Gossip, Rumours, Innuendo, Parties, Fashion Tips, Chemical Celebs, but also NO diagrams of cows' innards, NO readers chewing straw, NO pin-ups of tractors.

Thank you for your support in the Charity Blogathon and the EPCA Conference Special. Watch this space for when the Blog goes on the Road.... to K, the ICIS Aromatics Conference, and EPL in the coming months.
