soldier.jpgAn executive at the Chemical Heritage Foundation in Philadelphia, US was in the news this week for re-enlisting in the US Army at the age of 55.

Specialist Neil Gussman, now nicknamed "Hollywood" by his pals, was spotted in an article in LancasterOnline.com and sent in to the Blog by my colleagues Ivan and Joe in the New York office of ICIS Chemical Business.

Click here for the full article about his training with the 28th Combat Aviation Brigade.

Mr. Gussman informs me that he's acually a Specialist, which is actually above a private (it's the rank equivalent--same pay grade--as a corporal).

And through the magic of blog-editing, I have corrected it to Specialist (from Private). Thanks for the tip, Ivan.

Wow--thanks to Ivan and Barbara for my Cyber promotion!
