If ever a film about a US president could be expected to feature oil and petrochemicals, Oliver Stone's "W" must be it. Billed as a satirical and humorous biopic of outgoing President George W Bush, it shows his early experiences in the oil business, and his later ventures into protecting oil supplies for the US. According to reviews, the film is unexpectedly restrained and Josh Brolin's performance as the eponymous hero is surprisingly warm.
