A flautist suspended in a giant transparent plastic sphere, the size of a four-storey building, floats on London's River Thames at low tide, as part of the Mayor's Thames Festival last weekend. The flautist was in the exact centre (eighteen feet above the water), performing Water Cycle, a piece for flute and sound system.
