A beautiful gift-wrapped Sachertorte is the talk of the ICIS office this morning, as our colleagues return from the FECC congress in Vienna, where Brenntag hosted a dinner for customers and press.
The parting gift from the Brenntag dinner, which took place during the conference of European Association of Chemical Distributors (FECC), 6-8 June 2011, was the luxury chocolate cake, in a presentation wooden box. The Blog can confirm it is remarkably heavy, and dense with chocolate and eggs.
The recipe for the Original Sachertorte is a fiercely guarded secret, and the branded cake can only be bought from Hotel Sacher outlets.
