Patrick Aulbers has set up a new chemical trading venture, Aulbers Chemicals BV, he announced on Wednesday.   The new company is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and will be trading acrylonitrile and vinyl acetate monomer (VAM).   Aulbers was formerly owner/managing director/trader at Joss Chemicals.

Jay Cho has joined traders Vitol in Singapore, he announced in an email to contacts on Sunday 28 February.   Cho, formerly an aromatics trader with Interchem and Samsung will begin his new role on 1 March 2010.   Vitol was a sponsor of the recent ICIS 8th European Aromatics Conference in Amsterdam.
