ICIS pricing launches Chinese language Flexible Polyurethane Foam Raw Materials (China) report

Demand for PPG is growing at 10 - 15% annually in China, where around 55% of total PPG demand comes from the flexible foam market and 25% comes from rigid foam respectively. The Chinese flexible foam grade PPG market will grow at 5% per annum until 2010, with growth driven by domestic PPG capacity expansions and downstream foam industry. There are 5 TDI producers in China, with total capacities of 305,000 tonnes per year. Annual TDI demand growth in China stands at more than 5%.
