ICIS takes an in-depth look at PX ACP developments

Since the middle of last year, PX spot prices had been significantly higher than ACP settlements, with the gap continuing to widen and not showing any signs of positive market growth in the past recent months.

PTA producers’ margins have been squeezed by high PX costs and stiff competition from the aggressive addition of new capacities in the past few years. Several Asian producers were especially hard-hit, and had made losses periodically in the past quarter.

ICIS Senior Editor, Mr Salmon Lee, will be chairing an exclusive webcast forum on 30 July 2007, discussing the PX ACP system and latest market movements, after a brief presentation on the market. The floor will also be opened to registrants for personal views and feedback on developments within the regional market. For more information or registration, please email us with your name and company details.
