'Science Matters' website promotes science education

The US National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) has launched a major public awareness initiative, called Science Matters, designed to rekindle a sense of urgency among schools and families about the importance of science education.

The Science Matters website provides teachers and parents with information about the state of science education in the US. The website also has links to other sites offering simple science experiments and activities to do in the classroom or home.
