Melamine Europe Transcript

The ICIS European melamine report is published weekly. It includes a quarterly contract price, which is quoted in Euros per metric tonne with a conversion to US cents per pound, and prices are assessed on a free delivered (FD) to northwest Europe (NWE) basis.

We also have two spot quotes. The first quote refers to the material sold from or into NWE on a FD basis, and this is also quoted in Euros per metric tonne. The second spot quote represents material sold into the European market from the rest of the world. This material is possibly subject to duty, and is quoted in US Dollars per metric tonne with a conversion to Euros cents per pound.

Price assessments are based on information supplied by buyers, traders and producers through the week. The report offers market commentary on supply and demand, exports and imports, contract price negotiations and general sentiment for price direction, as well as actual trades.

In addition to general market intelligence, we also include comments on the upstream urea and ammonia industries, as well as brief commentary on the Asian and US markets. The ICIS melamine report is used as a reference in the industry. Subscribing to our weekly analysis will enable you to make informed business decisions with confidence.
