German energy groups present labelling proposals
The German energy agency (Dena) and German association for the energy industry (VDEW) have put forward their proposals for energy labelling ahead of the national implementation of EU single market regulations, Dena said in a statement on Tuesday.
“The recording, transfer, processing, and presentation of the data must be transparent and easily convertible and should not hinder the functioning of the market,” the deputy managing director of VDEW, Eckhard Schulz, said at a conference held by the two associations.
“Users can only make a decision over different suppliers of energy if they are informed of the energy mix and its respective impact on the environment,” Stephan Kohler, managing director of Dena said. ADS
