Swiss reservoirs fall 0.4 points in Week 43 to 85.9% capacity

Swiss hydropower reservoir levels decreased by 0.4 percentage points last week to 85.9% — down 3.7 points from the highest level recorded so far this year (89.6% fullness in week 39), according to data from the country’s federal energy office, the BFE. Levels during Week 43 (19th October – 25th October) were up 8.7 percentage points on the same week in 2003. The Week 43 figure represents an estimated reservoir hydropower capacity of 7,336 GWh. GR
