Swiss reservoirs fall in Week 48 to 82.2% fullness
Swiss hydropower reservoir levels decreased by 3 percentage points last week to 85.2% fullness according to data from the country’s federal energy office, the BFE. This is the third consecutive weekly fall after gains in Week 44 and Week 45.
Levels during Week 48 (22nd November – 29th November) were up sharply by 14.7 percentage points on the same week in 2003, but exactly the same as that recorded for the same week in 2002. The Week 48 figure represents an estimated reservoir hydropower capacity of 7,016 GWh. FF
