Simon’s Choice

Regular users will notice a few changes to ICIS Connect, which we've made after feed back from a number of users. ICIS Connect will now focus on a smaller group of areas that will help people with interests around the chemical industry in their day to day jobs. The main change is that we have simplified the structure to replace forums with a number of groups of interest. I hope that you find these changes make ICIS Connect easier to use.

The ICIS REACH group and resource is now open on ICIS Connect. We aim to use this group to develop an online resource of data, information and opinion and discussion about REACH and its implications for those who use chemicals across the globe. We're starting from scratch so we'd appreciate any useful input you can give. It is free to join and take part.

ICIS list of the top 100 chemical companies world wide in 2008 was published in ICIS Chemical Business on 14 September 2009. Members of ICIS Connect can to join the group and download a pdf of the data from the top 100 chemical companies group.

While you are here you might like to look out for our new Chemicals Factories gallery. If you work in the chemical industry and are proud of your plant or just like taking atmospheric pictures of chemical factories then please share your pictures here. If you're lucky we may use one in an ICIS publication.

While you're here, I'd just like to say that ICIS Connect is a place for the individual people who work in the chemical industry and who are interested in the chemical industry to meet and have conversations if they want.
