Currently at stage two of my undergraduate chemistry Mchem degree, I am very interested in finding an industrial placement for the period of a year. I would be looking to commence a placement during my third year of my Mchem Chemistry degree at Newcastle University, which takes place September 2009. I have to-date been involved it promoting the chemistry industry both for the RSC and as a university representative. I have also been involved in promoting the chemical industry through the chemistry careers fair run at Newcastle University. I am open to any placement opportunities available, as  i genuinely enjoy all aspects of my chemistry degree and do not yet have a preference. At the end of stage 1 of my degree i attained a 2:1 of which i expect to maintain, if not improve upon.

Hi,

I'm also at stage two, and have just found myself a placement to start this summer for 12 months with ExxonMobil.

You should check out RateMyPlacement - www.ratemyplacement.co.uk, it's got quite a few placement jobs and loads of reviews written by students, worth a look.

Good luck!
