Welcome to ICIS connect!
Simon’s Choice
Its been a quieter week for chemical industry news after last week's announcements that Dow is set to buy Rohm and Haas for $18.8bn and Ashland is paying $3.3bn to buy Hercules, another US specialty chemical maker. That said, we've had more new content on ICIS connect. We have started a thread about lost time accidents at work, with a chilling video of incompetence from the US Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board.
On a lighter note, the ICIS conference department has uploaded some pictures from the recent ICIS Ammonia Handling & Shipping Safety Workshop. Were you there, do you have any pictures from the event? We'd love to see them.
Check out The High Hill from one of our community of bloggers.
