Germany’s Bayer to inaugurate Dormagen TDI plant in Dec

DUBAI (ICIS)--Germany-based polymer and plastics producer Bayer MaterialScience (BMS) is expected to inaugurate its new toluene di-isocyanate (TDI) plant at the Chempark Dormagen site in western Germany before Christmas this year, a market source close to the company said late on Sunday. 

The information could not be immediately verified with the BMS' headquarters in Germany.

According to a press release on the company’s website, the plant with a capacity of 300,000 tonne/year is part of Bayer MaterialScience’s long-term investment strategy in Dormagen.
