Europe May ethylene, propylene CPs fully established
The European ethylene and propylene contract price benchmarks for May are now fully established at €1,165/tonne ($1,513/tonne) and €1,025/tonne respectively, market sources said on Friday.

Bayer’s HealthCare, CropScience units lift group Q1 net profit
Bayer’s HealthCare and CropScience businesses helped lift the Germany-based chemical major’s first-quarter net profit by 11.5% year on year to €1.16bn ($1.51bn), the firm said on Thursday.

Balanced availability helps Europe OX resist softer oil, energy
Limited availability outside of contractual business has helped keep European orthoxylene (OX) numbers from falling sharply amid oil and energy losses, sources said on Wednesday.
