than a year, sources said on Monday.

Brazil may raise
the biodiesel blend required in
diesel fuel as early as January as producers contend with a
soybean bumper crop expected for the 2013-2014 season,
players in the sector said on Tuesday.
US November propylene contracts
expected to fall slightly
US
November propylene contracts are
expected to settle at a slight decline despite a nomination
for a rollover, sources said on Tuesday.
US propane spot prices reach
18-month high as exports strip

US spot propane spot prices reached an 18-month high
early on Wednesday, as supply statistics showed propane
consumption rose by 15.9% for the week ending 1 November,
while inventories fell by 4.2%.
LyondellBasell may restart
methanol plant by mid-December:

LyondellBasell’s restart
of a mothballed Texas methanol plant
should be completed by mid-December and possibly sooner,
sources said on Wednesday.
US Q3 GDP rose by 2.8%, improving
over the Q2 pace of 2.5%
The US
economy expanded in the third quarter at an annual pace of
2.8%, the Commerce Department said on Thursday, marking a
slight but definite improvement from the 2.5% growth rate
seen in the second quarter this year.

Nearly a year after closing
arguments had ended, a decision is still pending in a $19bn
(€14bn) lawsuit pitting Tronox creditors against Anadarko and
the pigment-producer’s former corporate parent, Kerr-McGee.
