LONDON (ICIS)--JBF's new polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plant in Geel, Belgium, will have marketable product in June/July 2014, a company source said on Thursday.

“In June/July we will have prime material on the market,” the source said.

Commissioning at the 432,000 tonne/year plant is due to take place in March/April 2014, he added.

It was due to be up and running by May or early June, a source said in October this year.

JBF's new plant will follow expected start-ups at new plants in the UK, Turkey and Egypt.
