HOUSTON (ICIS)--LSB Industries announced on Monday that its facility at Pryor, Oklahoma, has resumed ammonia production after undergoing unplanned maintenance, which shuttered production since October.
The company said the plant is currently building up its ammonia inventory and plans to resume production of urea ammonium nitrate (UAN) next month. In addition to the maintenance work, LSB also used the down-time to address equipment reliability.
Originally, the producer had planned to have the facility resuming operations by mid-November, but as the repairs were commencing, the company realised that the scope of the repairs and upgrades were much larger than anticipated.
LSB is a manufacturer and marketer of climate-control products and chemicals for the agricultural, mining and industrial markets.
