LONDON (ICIS)--France’s production of chemicals and chemical products rose 1.9% in November from October, the country’s statistics and economics institute said in a data release on Friday.
The increase followed a 0.2% rise in October from September, the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (Insee) added.
The production of rubber, plastics and other non-metal mineral products rose 1.2% in November from October, following a 1.2% decline in October from September.
Overall French industry output rose 1.3% in November from October, following a 0.5% decline in October from September.
Petroleum products production showed the sharpest increase - rising 22.2% in November from October - because of the restart of a refinery after maintenance work, the institute said.
