SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Thailand’s TOC Glycol shut its 400,000 tonne/year monoethylene glycol (MEG) plant on 15-16 January for a planned turnaround, a company source said on Monday.

The unit, located at Map Ta Phut in Rayong province, is expected to be restarted in mid-February, the source said.

TOC Glycol is the only MEG producer in Thailand. It is a subsidiary of PTT Chemical, which is Thailand’s largest olefins maker.
