Sinochem Macau and Jordan's Arab Potash Company (APC) have agreed on the supply of 300,000 tonnes of potash to China for the first half of 2014.

The terms and conditions of this agreement are in line with current market prices and terms in China. Last week, Uralkali said it had signed an agreement to supply 700,000 tonnes of potash at $305/tonne CFR.

This deal is part of the three-year term agreement (2014-2016) signed between the two companies last year under which Sinochem Group will purchase 600,000/year tones of potash from APC at the prevailing market price.
