China’s Ningxia Shenhua Coal shuts PP plants on technical issues

SINGAPORE (ICIS)–China’s Ningxia Shenhua Coal Industry Group Co shut its 200,000 tonne/year and 300,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) units in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region on 15 February on technical issues, a company source said on Tuesday.
A separate company source said that the shutdown will last for 12 days.
The shutdown may have limited impact on the market prices as there is sufficient local supply despite of decreasing availability, market players said.
