LONDON (ICIS)--Spot prices and conditions in the European butyl acetate (butac) market remain largely unchanged, participants said on Friday.
Following the March contract price rollover of feedstock propylene, the majority of butac suppliers have held prices steady from last month.
“There are no changes in pricing, nothing,” a producer said.
A distributor said: “Butac is more or less dead. Prices are stable on low level.”
“Butac [the market] is down in the doldrums, it’s unchanged,” a second distributor added.
