LONDON (ICIS)--European epoxy resins prices in March have generally rolled over from February due to weak demand, despite pressure from higher feedstock costs and the desire of producers to lift weak margins.
European bisphenol A settled €60-70/tonne higher in March from February due to availability issues.
Several epichlorohydrin (ECH) buy-side sources said that they settled March contracts at rollovers from February, with prices heard between €2,150/tonne and €2,400/tonne FD (free delivered) NWE (northwest Europe).
Two sellers said that they settled contracts in the month at an average increase of €50/tonne. One of the sellers said that it settled some business at a rollover.
A third producer said that it settled most of its business at an increase of €30-40/tonne, adding that a few contracts were settled at rollovers.
