Brazil DAP and MAP imports fall in February 2014

LONDON (ICIS)--Brazil imported 54,019 tonnes of monoammonium phosphate (MAP) in February 2014, down 24.31% from 71,369 tonnes in February 2013, according to data from the Foreign Trade Secretariat on Wednesday

For the first two months of 2014, Brazil imported 242,013 tonnes of MAP, up 41.46% from 171,085 tonnes in the same period in 2013.

Brazil imported 15,810 tonnes of diammonium phosphate (DAP) in February 2014, down 84.35% from 101,021 tonnes in the same period in 2013. For January and February 2014, Brazil imported 15,810 tonnes of DAP, down 87.62% from 127,743 tonnes in the first two months of 2013.
