LONDON (ICIS)--AkzoNobel will carry out a maintenance shutdown at its ethanolamines plant in Stenungsund, Sweden, in early May, a company source said on Wednesday.
“We are carrying out a catalyst change at the plant and the shutdown will be a couple of weeks,'' the source said.
The plant produces mono-ethanolamine for captive use and di-ethanolamine for the open market. All contractual obligations were expected to be fulfilled during the outage, the source said.
