MELBOURNE (ICIS)--Japanese glycol ethers producer KH Neochem plans to restart its plant at Yokkaichi in Mie prefecture in the week starting 21 April after completing a scheduled turnaround, a company source said on Tuesday.

The plant, which can produce 30,000 tonnes/year of glycol ethers, is in the middle of a six-week turnaround that began in early March.

The company does not disclose the exact dates for its maintenance shutdowns.

Glycol ethers produced by KH Neochem include those derived from ethylene glycol as well as from propylene glycol, according to the company’s website.
