LONDON (ICIS)--February exports from the EU of Diethanolamine (DEA) fell by 8.4% year on year, according to data released by statistics agency Eurostat this week.

The move comes against a background of stronger demand within Europe, limited availability and increases in spot and contract pricing.

In addition, imports from Russia and from the US have been more limited.

DEA is the most exported ethanolamine, with demand and prices in other regions normally stronger than European.
