EU DEA imports surge, exports slump in April – Eurostat

LONDON (ICIS)--EU diethanolamine (DEA) imports increased but exports fell significantly in April 2014 compared to the same period last year, according to trade data statistical agency Eurostat on Wednesday.

Imports were up by about 56% but exports dropped 90%. Although the volumes are small in magnitude, this is the first time the EU has imported more than it exported.
