May China sulphur import levels drop 4% year on year

LONDON (ICIS)--Sulphur imports to China from the rest of the world fell in May year on year by 4.17%, according to China Customs data from Global Trade Information Services (GTIS) released this week.

Sulphur imports totalled  663,195 tonnes in May 2014, down 4.17% year on year from 692,029 tonnes.

The most notable percentage increase was seen from Russia at 51%, followed by Saudi Arabia at 21%.
