In South Korea, Namhae is understood to have closed an enquiry for 6,000 tonnes of prilled urea this week. There is talk of an award being made in the high-$260s/tonne CFR, but there are also indications it is still under discussion and not awarded yet. The freight and cost package from China is estimated around $20/tonne.

Pungnong closed a tender on 3 July for 3,000 tonnes of granular urea. Price indications are talked below $300/tonne CFR and a second round is scheduled for 4 July.
