LONDON (ICIS)--Following several weeks of severe congestion and a backlog of vessels at Indian ports the situation has now improved, according to Indian ethyl acetate suppliers to Europe.
“The port congestion? I think it’s over,” an Indian etac producer said on Friday.
A distributor agreed: “That situation is now better, the backlog has been cleared.”
As reported on 16 May, delayed Indian etac imports were exacerbating tight market conditions in Europe.
