SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Teijin’s 130,000 tonne/year polycarbonate (PC) plant in Matsuyama, Japan, is currently shut for scheduled turnaround and will resume production around end-July, a company source said on Wednesday.

The plant was taken off line early this month, the source said.

Teijin has two other PC plants – a 210,000 tonne/year unit in Singapore and a 150,000 tonne/year unit in China.
