In Australia, Yara says its Pilbara ammonia plant on the Burrup Peninsula will be shut down for up to a month from second half August to enable a scheduled turnaround to take place.

The Norwegian company expects the plant to go offline around 20 August for four weeks, meaning it will not restart until mid-September at the earliest.

Yara usually lifts an average of 70,000-90,000 tonnes per month from the Western Australia plant for delivery to long term clients in the Far East and southeast Asia.
