SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Qatar Chemical and Petrochemical Marketing and Distribution Co (Muntajat) said on Sunday it has signed a two-year contract with Qatar Navigation (Milaha) for the time charter of a gas carrier to transport ammonia exports to Muntajat customers globally.
The Almarona, a 23,000 cubic metre (cbm) capacity liquefied petroleum gas carrier, is wholly-owned and managed by Qatar Shipping Company, a fully-owned subsidiary of Milaha, Muntajat said in statement.
Earlier this year, Muntajat signed a two-year feedering transport agreement with Milaha to export Qatar’s production of polymers and melamine to Muntajat customers around the world, it added.
State-owned Muntajat holds the exclusive rights to market, sell and distribute Qatar's chemical and petrochemical products to the global market.
