SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japan’s Teijin resumed operation at its 130,000 tonne/year polycarbonate (PC) plant at Matsuyama after a turnaround earlier this week, a company source said on Wednesday.

The plant was taken off line in early July for a scheduled maintenance, the source said.

The exact restart date was not immediately known.

Teijin has two other PC plants, one situated in Singapore and the other in China with nameplate capacities of 210,000 tonnes/year and 150,000 tonnes/year respectively.
